Upside Down and Inside Out

by Tamara Talcott   Feb 9, 2005

The Lipton tea workers are all taking coffee breaks.
And UPS and Fed-Ex have united, they are now Fed-UP.

The chairs are all stuck to the celling.
And the mime in the next room is flipping out about the blank tape playing on full blast.

The moon is up but the sky is as bright as 1000 fires.
And infants are using $10 words.

The word is completely backward.
But people go on without notice.
They shield there eyes and pretend not to see.
And they seem not to care, not about you and not about me.

Because of the ignorance and the sugar-coated lies,
The world is broken,
Never to be revived.
