Look At Her, Part Two

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Feb 10, 2005

Look at her crying for help
Look at the ways she walks
She walks alone
Her head is always down

Can't you even say "Hi" to her?
Can't you even try to be her friend?
Can't you see that she's all alone?
Can't you see that she doesn't have a true friend?

She walks alone in the halls
She walks with her head down
She doesn't want people to see the tears filling up her eyes
She just wants a true friend, thats all she wants

She sits in her classes
Pretending to be happy
Pretending to be that she's a great person
Pretending she cares about life
Pretending she cares about anything

She talks when she needs to
She hears the laughter
She hears them talking about her
She acts like she doesn't care

She keeps her head down
She doesn't want people to see her pain
She doesn't want people to realize how weak she is

She keeps falling
Getting weaker after each fall to life herself up
She See's people around her
But not a one offers her help

She stays to herself
Feeling alone
Knowing that she doesn't have a true friend
Knowing that she's meant to be alone.

She tries to be a good friend
She feels like that its her fault not having true friends
She knows that she is a good friend
But why do people treat her so wrong

She's feeling that her life is not important to be living
She's feeling that her life is just a waste of time
She tries to kill herself
But she knows that its not worth it

She wants people to see the pain
But she knows if they do they would make it stronger
She wants people to care for her
But she knows if they do they may use her

Look at her crying
Look at the way she walks
She walks alone
Her head is always down.

Can't you say "Hi" to her?
Can't you be her friend?
Can't you see that she's alone?
Can't you care for her?

A nice sequel to the previous poem, again i like the questions you pose. Often i find myself asking things about others, and if they could do more than they do. Lol, do i make sense? Anyway i like it, why it has such a low rating i will never understand.
