I Am Still Missing You

Days once were happy are now filled with sorrow.
No more living for today, looking forward to tomorrow.
I miss you a lot since you've gone away.
Think of you often several times in the day.
I find myself searching for your face in the crowd.
Though I know you're not there and maybe I'm not allowed.
I had to let you go for that was your choice.
Still do you know how much I miss your voice?
I miss it's quiet tone, it's all to familiar sound.
Your singing, dancing and clowning around.
I miss getting your messages to ask of my day.
"Don't worry" you'd say. "It'll be OK."
I miss dreaming about the future together.
I miss someone telling me to believe in forever.
What I would give to see the smile on your face.
I wish once more to be held in your love's embrace.
If you only knew how many times I wanted to call
Pick up the phone and talk about it all.
How many letters have I wanted to send.
To tell you I just can't think of you as only my friend.
My thoughts though must stay deep inside.
Until I am able to say all my love for you has completely died.
I wonder though is that the right thing to do?
Then I realize chances are you don't miss me as I miss you.
Someday time will ease this unbearable pain.
I'll be a lot less vulnerable and what strength I will gain.
I'll finally learn to stop missing you and say that goodbye.
Learn to think of you and not start to cry.
Someday I'll prevail, I will make it threw.
For now, however, I am still missing you.
