My Neverland

My Never-land By Brittney Reynolds
February 28,2004

There is this place
Where I can go
Where my mind can travel
When life gets so low
I take a small trip
With a one way ticket
To the rain forest
With a small spring in it
The waterfall rains down
The water trickles on the rocks
The sun shines through the trees
And the animals join in flocks
The butterflies flutter
As the wind blows
The faeries sing and dance
In the lighted rows
The flowers sweet scent
Attracts the bees
And the birds hum a tune
All through the breeze
In this place
I come to relax
I lay back and close my eyes on a rock
And take in life's beauty at a max
The sounds
The scents
This is where my life
Really makes sense
In this land of make belief
Dreams come true and time stands still
Frozen in a wonderland
Life's little holes fill
So lay back, take a deep breath and clear your mind
Let everything go and
You too can have a place
In your own Never-land

I could really picture myself in my neverland listening to birds chirp and bees hum...and a waterfall too! Gosh, that was beautiful. So many times I need to escape somewhere too. Very nice write, keep on writing.
