My Secret Heaven

by Lauraballz   Mar 9, 2005

Dancing in the solace of my night-born lies,
Grasping at the hand of hope reaching through the skies.
Lost in the visions of a whimsical state,
Dreams that still tempt me with a fanciful fate.

Bathing in the lake of illicit destiny,
Torn between a wishing well and reality.
Teased by the might of a sweet disillusion,
Held back to facts where I'm doomed to seclusion.

Singing in the realm of these fictitious dreams,
Pleading with the man who moulds such vicious schemes.
Driven by desires capricious yet deep,
Parking in a Secret Heaven as I sleep.
