Angel Of Love/Hate

Sitting on a cloud above
Sprinkling down on earth the fabrics of true love
Making hearts flutter so high
As true love never dies
Making people meet their soul mate
Being together is their fate
This is what I like to do
I might even have done it to you
I get so excited when my job has been done
Making people happy is such fun
Then the angel of hate comes along
Making all my hard work turn out so wrong
Forcing lovers to despise one another
I really hate to say that he is my brother
He twists people’s emotions the wrong way
He makes them say things they shouldn’t say
If he got his way in the world it would be such a sorry place
So with a sprinkle of my dust I let him feel the lovers embrace
Off he goes looking a bit dazed but no more hate will he spread
So back I go making love fill every ones head
So next time you feel a flutter in your heart
It’s just me letting you know that you are not meant to be apart
