Porcelain Face

by Hannah Leigh Pate   Mar 22, 2005

She walked all alone, everyday,
She cried at home, and hid it away.
Her friends never knew,
And she always felt blue.
She was fading away on the inside,
And showed the world her lie.

She wore a porcelain face,
That hid the memories away,
And never showed her pain.
They never knew until that day.

She was a good girl,
She had good grades,
But she was greatly unknown to the world,
And wore the porcelain face to her masquerades.
Without any eyes to see her,
She would die, that lonely girl.

And she hid away her pain,
No one knew her name,
Until she was under the grave…
Wearing her porcelain face.
