Good-Bye

by Amber   Mar 24, 2005

I dedicate this story to my one and only love.
Dear Alex, remember, you're always in my heart!

He left it on his bed,
and he locked his bedroom door.

He turned his stereo on,
and played his favorite song.

Not once has he left his room,
and his parent began to worry.

Knocking on his door,
they heard he left his radio on.

Wearing a frown,
they decided to take the door down.

They walked into his room,
which smelt like old prunes.

His father saw the note he had left behind,
which was marked with the words, "I hope you had fun!"

Reading the note a single tear kissed his father's cheek.

Picking up a pillow,
which was placed by the note.

His father threw it at his closet door.

His mother screamed in fear,
and his father's eyes weren't ready to bare.

The closet door, slowly crept open.

Reveling the body of their only son.

His arms showed them his pain that words cannot explain.

His body was hanged,
and his body was against the wall.

This story is true,
and this guy I once knew.

Me and Alex were best friends,
until his life came to an end.
