This pain inside me won't go away,

So hard to see it because it always hides.
The pain is only revealed to me,
And nobody else can see,
How much this really hurts,
Can't be explained by just mere words.
Just for this pain to leave
Would be my biggest relief,
So I no longer have to cry every night,
And this hurt I no longer have to fight.
Nobody would ever believe,
How my body leaves you so deceived,
You think I'm alright,
With a smile in your sight,
But I'm not OK,
Back and forth I sway,
Sometimes I have hope,
Sometimes all I can do is mope.
You were the one who caused this,
When she was the one to receive your kiss,
And you gave her your heart,
When I was the one who loved you from the start.
My soul will paint you a sad picture of art,
Showing you my sad, broken heart.
