Dawn Arises

by Ð맆îñ¥   Mar 27, 2005

Whispers rustle the grasses shutters
Yet nothing spoils the silence
Till in someone’s voice some evil stutters
But is silenced by the sun’s brilliance

An empty smile is greeting me
A burning glow as eyes
Unreal strikes of joy
Doors to souls, smiles stead of cries

Loving despair is my birthday gift
The same for Christmas, different wrapper
You’re lost, eternally strung
Eyes dying our of the spirit rapper

No one sends messages to you
Had they, they’d be forgotten
In the depths of misery emitted from you
Flesh in the place of sorrow, rotten

Lonely longing in a lingering gaze
Wishing each morn for an end to the daze
That has set itself on your hardworking mind
Release it from the cell in which it’s confined

Before a moment passes the day
An end to the joy has come
The sun rises on, undisturbed
But sadness does succumb
