An Ordinary Day

by Erika   Mar 28, 2005

This is a story of a boy and a girl,
Who loved each other more than life itself.
Would it be wrong to go against God?
Would it be wrong if they made love?

They both knew, the time to sin had come.
They waited for the perfect moment for them to burn.
They waited too long, doubts made it all wrong.
The perfect moment was gone and it will never return.

Unshed tears lived in the girl´s broken heart.
Waiting for her boy to love her and make everything alright.
He wasnt aware that she was dying inside.
He took her to bed hoping tonight would be the night.

No stars, no candles to keep her warm...
The night started and ended on a flash.
Nothing special, just another ordinary day.
Nothing to make her smile, a lot of words needed to say.

But she learned that silence was her friend.
Showing her suffering would only make her boy hurt with pain.
No longer a girl, after that night she was torn.
She was now a woman still waiting for her night of love.
