The friendhip we shared

You called me yesterday
we didn't really have anything to say

You said hi,
i said what's up?

that was about it
I wish we could talk the way we used to

Sometimes I would stay up all night
listening to your voice

We were best friends
But now that i have moved on
I really wonder if what I did was right

Maybe I shouldn't have gone away
maybe I should of stayed

If I would've do you really think we would still be friends?

I kind of doubt it
and sometimes I feel bad for thinking this way

But the sad part is that you probably aren't thinking of me
and if you are
which I really wish you were

then that would just make my day
it would prove that all we went through
all we said to eachother
wasn't nothing

it would mean that our friendship meant something

even though we no longer talk
I haven't forgotten you
or what we shared.

I haven't forgotten that you were the one who cared.

I haven't forgottan anything about you or our friendship
but I just hope you haven't forgottan either.
