I come through the night

by Martin   Apr 3, 2005

Stomach is churning, tossing and turning,
Thoughts you never had before.
As you lay in your bed, demons run though your head,
Shouting and screaming for more.

No pleasure, all pain, as you remember my name,
I will be coming for you.
Your breathings not deep, can’t think nor sleep,
As you realise the rumours are true.

I come through the night, curtains shiver with fright,
As I whistle through the air.
Dark enters the room, mixing shadows with gloom,
Awaken with fright and stare.

The time is now here, and with a red eyed leer,
I snatch you into my arm.
Taking out my scythe, I murder your life,
Vanish… now it is calm…
