Pale Faced Girl Prt1

by Amy   Apr 5, 2005

Pale faced girl closes her eyes
Cheeks stained with black tears
Blood trickles down her arms
As she sways from side to side
Still clutching the razor so tight
In her trembling hands
Bright lights shine down
So intense
Forcing her eyes shut again
Her mind becomes numb
Is this an illusion or reality?
Voices screaming in her head now
Like vultures they wait
For her head to hit the ground
So they can pray on her soul
And peck away at her dignity
Shards of broken mirror
Scattered upon the blood splattered floor
Like pieces of her heart
Fragile, jagged and torn

Drifting from the cold room
In which she now lays
Hoping this eternal sleep
Will make the demons disappear
Maybe then daddy wont hurt her
With words that scar her for life
And mommy wont hit or slap
And take away her dreams
Maybe then these wounds will heal
And then her tears will dry
Maybe then this pale faced girl
Can feel what its like
To love and be loved in return
Fantasy only seems to bring this to life

Angels calling her now
So heavenly, so sweet
A smile lingers on her face
As she runs towards the light
Leaving behind
Her demons, her fears
This pale faced girl
In death, she is born again free...
