Look at her part three

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Apr 6, 2005

Look at her praying
She’s praying for help
She’s praying for hope
She’s praying for a friend

Look at her going home
She enters a house
A house that’s empty
A house without a soul

Look at her walking in her home
Day after day no one’s home
Day after day no one’s there when she needs him or her
Day after day no one’s there to comfort her

She gets something to eat
Walks in her bedroom
Eats her snack
And cries on her bed

She has flash backs
Wonderful flash backs
Flash backs of her family
Flash backs of a family she once had

She wonders why it changed
She wonders why she can’t have that family once again
She cries till night comes around

She comes out of her room
The house quiet
The house dark
The house empty
She calls her mom
Her mom doesn’t pick up_she calls her dad
Her dad says: “Sweetie I won’t be home tonight”

She cooks dinner
Leaves the pot on the stove
She eats her dinner in her room
Lays on her bed and cries

Every night, life has been like this for years
Every night she’s been lonely
Every night she’s been hoping
Every night she wonders why

She wakes up on her own
Eats breakfast on her own
Gets ready on her own
Stays in a home without a soul

At times she gets tired
She gets tired of the pain
She gets tired of having to bare the pain
She gets tired of being alone

She stays in a house without a soul
She stays to herself
She stays her own best friend

When she’s alone to cry
She wonders what has she done for this
She wonders what can she do about it
She wonders if she’ll see her family once again.

Look at her
Do you see the sorrow?
Are you to blind to see this girl suffering?
Are you to scared that you may care?

She cries day and night
She’s alone day and night
She only has one best friend
And that is herself

The tears she cries
Doesn’t take the pain away
The ccuts she he does
Just brings the pain closer.

Please try and see
Try to see the pain
Try to care for her
Just try to be her friend
Before it’s too late and she’s no longer here.
