Echoes (a visionless love)

by mayme   Apr 9, 2005

Echoes of a mothers cry
are loudest when spent for her child,
tears like falls that touch the ground
become a river that forever flows.
Her children die one by one
leaving her on her knees
with only a rock to see
telling herself it was meant to be.
