The Light in the Dark

I am going through the rain,
I don't want any pain.
Though with all my might
I cannot feel the sunlight.
I can see it shinning
it is almost blinding.
But the warmth never touches me,
my spirit cannot get free.
Black clouds cover my sky,
but one day, I know I will fly.

    I have a peom that sounds almost exactly like this one that I wrote a long time ago. It's called this light. I thought of it as soon as I started reading it. I know exactly what you were feeling.
