Unnamed 002

by erotema   Apr 11, 2005

Absolved from sin. oh Death, where is thy sting?
we’ve found the truth, that Eastern sun hath made
our open’d eyes and heart to turn from shade
and close no more from that which dark can bring.
now Light hath made those seamy skies to sing
of what can come to those who’ve knelt and prayed
sincere. for those in Grace who have essayed
themselves shall find the scepter of the King.

but in epochal schemes, consider not
the thought that all design is just unaimed,
for even if the heavens hung with thought
the Father’s great design will go unnamed,
and all the objects small would be for naught,
and all eternal majesty, ashamed.
