Smiles

by Lost Girl   Apr 17, 2005

So different on every face I see
Each one worn in a different way
I will wear mine soon I swear
But I will leave it off today

For you I smile for real
Look into my eyes you will see
My heart is there when I smile
You are always there for me

But sometimes, I will admit
That I smile without my heart
When teardrops distress my eyes
And happiness plays no part

But for you I wear this smile
Brighter than I did before
Each time I hear your voice
My smile shines brighter more

My smile is torn and tattered
My eyes are filled with pain
But when you are with me
I can smile with love again

*sorry this was longer but then the stupid computer lost part of it and I couldn’t remember what I had written!*
