This is me

I sit and I stare at the wall
and all the faces looking back at me
see my face and look straight through me
they miss my heart
and catch my laugh
there goes a happy girl
so yeah I’ll laugh and giggle and try
just don’t be surprised when I cry
and there are marks on my arms
and slashes on my legs
with the guilty tears falling free
