Hidden Talent

by Katie   Apr 18, 2005

Once upon a time there was a very unique girl,
She was so lost, so confused in her own distorted world.
She had so many dreams but never got a chance.
To sing, to write, and especially to dance.

No one knew of her hidden talent for she bottled everything she felt deep inside.
She got so scared, so hurt, that she just needed somewhere to hide.
So she looked deep within her heart and found what she needed to do.
This helped her a lot, in which she grew.

When it rained outside and each drop of water hit the ground,
She created a melody, stomping her feet in the puddles, making sound.
She danced her way back to her home, twirling and spinning,
As words became a rhyme deep inside her head, a song was beginning.

You could say this girl found herself or you could say its meant to be.
She was so very happy, it was her time, she was finally free.
Two little kids sitting on a bench looking so peaceful through their laughter,
This girl is now one of them, she lives happily ever after.

I wasn't sure which category to place this under so I figured this would be the closest thing. Thanks for reading. Comment please! It would mean a lot!
