The Day That I Lost You,
I Cried And Wondered Why?
Why Did The Lord Take You,
Why Did He Let You Die?

You Became Sick,
So Very Fast.
And When You Left,
I Was Left With Only The Past...

The Memories Are All That's Left,
I Will Hold Them In My Heart.
Even Though You Are Not Here,
Spiritually We're Not Apart.

I never Thought This Could Happen,
To You Or To Me.
But now The Lord Has Opened My Eyes,
So That I could See.

I Guess He Had Other Plans,
For You To Be With Him Now.
I have To Accept That It Was For The Best,
That I let You Go Somehow...

Everyday I Think,
Of Where You Are...
But Deep Down I Know,
Your Not Very Far.

Where You Are,
Is Very Simple.
I Should Have Known All Along...
It Should Of Been The First Place We Looked, Down Within Our Hearts...♥♥♥

    I wrote this poem for my dad. He died of cancer on april 7 ofthis year. I still feel like he's with me, i know i sound crazy, but it is such a painful thing to go throught...
