This Love Trance

Why it’s called a crush
I understand that now
I guess I was in a trance
To really understand how

Everyone I know gets
The guy they want
Especially some people
Even my favorite aunt

When you fall in love
You do things you don’t mean
That’s one reason
Why it’s so hard to be a teen

When in love you do stupid things
And you start to forget
About the people who really care
And then they become upset

That’s because they don’t know
What it means to be in love
Therefore you should show them
How you feel like gorgeous dove

Those kisses and hugs
That are just so sweet
Show to them how
Love is a great treat

But then you might realize
What you felt wasn’t love at all
It was nothing but a love trance
That caused a big wall
