Feed the Pain.

Song

Imaginary dream reflected in waves,
this high I need,
I forgot how it felt to give it all away,
to find warmth in the darkest place.
Who would have guessed it would be your face.

begging for
bleeding for
pleading for
breeding for
you.

Just the two of us against these prying eyes,
these lying highs, denying life.
You suck my kiss, the bloody love,
drips from my lips,
our red dove.

These highs, these heights,
our love requites.
These highs, these heights.

Our god silently lays in the bathtub
he never had a chance,
he never found our love.
If everything we know isn’t as it seems,
would our life show meaning,
what would we be.

I can still feel you after all these years
running through my blood,
feeding my tears.
The more the needle tears the skin,
the deeper and deeper I see within.
Looking inside to see my sins
I have to prick my skin
to remember back when.

begging for
bleeding for
pleading for
needing you

And when we come down,
it all begins to decay.
Our years of love and pain,
tattered to and fray.
Nothing can show,
nothing can convey,
how much you meant to me,
in this disarray.

beautiful. excellent. perfect. i love the way it didn't completely conform to a pattern just when you think it's about to (e.g. when you did the "begging for
    bleeding for
    pleading for
    breeding for
you." you expected you to repeat that over a couple times and it didn't, just wonderful) you are so talented. Such a way with words.
