Senior Year Art Class (betrayal)

by mayme   May 2, 2005

I said things I have never said
my trust was deep, comfort enveloped me.
My naivety, innocence, I tried to hide.
You told me your story, I told you mine.
So deep my emotion
brought up from the depth of my soul.
I untangled myself with your pain.
Our similarity exposed my bleeding heart.
Then so quiet that I could not hear,
you spoke about my sorrow, my fear.
Giggles echoed in my ears,
as my entire being began to sear.

I know its not very good but writing about it helps..right?
