Rain come again

by Poetically Speaking   May 3, 2005

Song

this is the most down I’ve been in a while
it hasn’t been this cold since back then
back before I had a smile
how it got this bad I’ll probably never know
I never saw it coming
it came so slow

I’m in here so alone
at this place I’m at
I feel like a drone
a nothing for no one
doing nothing
hanging - I’m hung

my life has taken a turn
somewhere I lost the way
I don’t think I’ll ever return
not today

raindrops, drip drop, drip, drop, drip, drop, drip
I just look into the sky
I wait for his word
I just die and die
raindrops on my cold skin
washing away the dirt
washing away the sin
for my soul to have its way
something’s got to happen
someone has to pay
the more I stay in here
the more I see the world
the more I want to dissapear

just like the raindrops falling from the sky
serve its purpose without a try
just keep falling
falling
then die
drip drop drip drop drip
drop.
