Any Other Day

by Unwanted Lamia   May 4, 2005

He sits and thinks
Thinks about suicide
Farther he sinks

Forgetting everything
Making blood drip
Bringing the familiar sting

He sees her then
Her face appears
He forgets what's about to happen

Tear break through
They wash away
Leaving a dark hue

She holds him
As he had held her
Both forgetting the sin

The knife falls away
She cries and whispers
"Everything will be okay."

But it wouldn't be okay
Because two days later
They sent him away

Any other day
It would happen
The exact same way.
