A place of the Unknown

by Lithium   May 15, 2005

Time love hurts over and over again,
Lighting a candle by the blue sky,
Pale white her skin and body in pain,
Slitting her wrists tonight she dies,

You’re living a life full of disaster,
From everyone noticing the little red lines,
Falling from the earth faster more faster,
No one around seeing the signs,

You never thought to ask if she was improving,
Nor if she was ever ok,
Everything she did they disapproved,
But what would they expect from a cutters display,

She said it feels fine oh what a wonderful day,
Yet underneath she cried wanting to end,
This life she lived, she didn’t want to stay,
As long as it was soon heaven she would ascend,

She dreamt of the devil an evil inside,
Taking her hand, dragging her to hell,
She lay crying in the corner trying to hide,
While doing her best to rebel,

Strawberry gashes all over her skin,
No longer could she hold onto a life so miserable,
The darkness had taken over her within,
Every feeling she had was uncontrollable,

If only she held on tighter and did not let go,
She’d be there today telling us were not alone,
Her memories are now ashes saved to flow,
Away in the wind to a place of the unknown.
