The Life She Never Had

by Kit Kat Katie   May 16, 2005

Sitting in the corner
She felt she had no life
What’s the point of living
She took out that knife

Lilly sat there crying
Cutting more and more
Looking out the window
No one was on the shore

Lilly thought it’d be better that way
No one could find her then
She’d go out deep, the waves were large
She wouldn’t go back to that den

Father had hit her
Bruises were dark
Mother wasn’t there
She died years back in the park

What would he say
if she turned out alive
Would he beat her more
or just tell her good-bye

Well now he’s in jail
For it wasn’t a tale
And Lilly was still alive

She’s learned her lesson
She got help from friends
She’s living the life she never had

Lilly lives a life a perfect teen
She’s 15 and living clean
If you get help now
It will save your life
Lilly had learned that the knife was just another fight.

This one is kind of a down from the other one. I still liked it, it's just not the same kind of like. You still did a good job though. Nice putting down cutting. Not many people do that. Good job. kilman = David B.
