Died For Love

I fell asleep last night crying.
I didnt awake the next morning.
All that was left was the blade.
And the last poem I will ever write.

Pools of blood surround my body.
My wrists cried tears of blood.
I left a wound that smiled at me.
When I left this place it frowned.

In the poem I wrote of better days.
Where you and I were always together.
Walking hand in hand on sandy beaches.
Sharing hugs and passionate kisses.

I wished upon the brightest star.
So that things will never go wrong.
The star I saw had fallen that night.
Now only the sea of darkness remains.

Everything wrong happened that day.
When she said she didn't love me.
My heart was bruised and broken.
I couldn't say a single word.

Tears came running down my cheeks.
She tried to wipe them away from me.
I turned away and never looked back.
Her apologies would never save me.

My heart was poisoned by her words.
It cut like the blade of a knife.
I was shot straight through the heart.
By a word that had no real meaning.

    This is very deep and sad.I love it.Sometimes i cut myself over my boyfriend because he makes me mad.well my ex but still i no it's wrong and i shoudnt do it.But great poem 5/5 keep up the good work.
