What do you see while you look at me?
Am I just another enemy?
I'm the one always in the way.
Without a word to say.

Pushed aside like a mindless vermin.
God forbid, send me an omen.
I will never understand you murky mind.
This pain is of a different kind.

The opaque voices deaden.
Life is too much of a burden.
I wake up screaming..
What have I been dreaming?

In my mind, what is it I lack?
This time I may not came back.
Inside I am hollow and cold.
Give me something that I can hold...

    I really liked that part. This was really dark, I read it right after one of your more "upbeat"poems so I had to read it a few times. Nice job on this.
