Never Meant To Be

When I look in the mirror
I see a girl who's lost,
A person who won't stop cutting
No matter what it costs.
When I look in the mirror
I see a girl surrounded by hate
A person who thinks
That to her life no one can relate.
When I look in the mirror
I see anger all around
This girl screaming at the top of her lungs
Yet not making a sound.
When I look in the mirror
I see a girl filled with pain
On the edge of a breakdown
Almost going insane.
But when I look in the mirror
I can now see me
And I've realized that a happy life
Was never meant to be..

    Great poem. But there are always people in lots of places who can relate to your feelings and thoughts. It may not always feel like it but there is always someone there so please try to remember that. Anyways, keep up the writing. Good job!
