Just a Poem

by Poetically Speaking   Jun 9, 2005

I awake to see daybreak
another day gone to waste
I don't really want to get up
life's lost all taste

they say its what you make of it
how you see the world
I've seen life and people
I prefer to choke and hurl

the red sky towers above
raining down on men
everyday's another trial
more pain, amen

imagine living the life you wanted
the life you should have
I bet then life would better
We'd all be less of a scab

Then again I'm always one to complain
this live is such a bore
such a hassle
such a pain

someday though
it may all come to pass
I may finally find a purpose
find love, and peace at last
