I read your letter,
so cold and mean.
I tried to understand,
but i just couldn't see
You told me it was my fault
that we all broke up
You told me that with out me,
you'd have better luck

I'm sorry that i messed up,
every ones life
I'm sorry that i hurt you,
and caused you so much strife
I'm sorry things are this way,
but see its not fair.
You know that i needed you,
that you were never there.

I tried my best,
to be a friend,
to hold your hand,
until the end,
But you smacked me away
and stabbed my back,
all for what?
I didn't understand.

I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
and always seem to mess up
but if look back,
you know i had love
I was loved by you all
we were friends for life
but look at us now
this can't be right.

I try too see
through my blinding tears
what i have
to keep me here.
I have a boy,
who, yes, you hate,
but if just look,
he's my soul mate.
I can't just walk away
and pretend nothings there,
i already did that once,
and i felt so scared.

I wish i could tell you
how sorry i am
that i screwed things up
but you wont understand.
