Your meaningless smiles

On the inside there are so many fears
but on the outside they don't seem so near
like you've pushed them away and you can cope
but your way of coping makes me loose hope
its not right to fight your every anger with more pain
Your covering up pain with more of the same
its OK to scream and its OK to shout
don't try and cover it all up with your smiley pout
I can see your numbness growing
But its happiness your showing
Your like a whirlwind that isn't hurting anyone
just destroying yourself until your time is done
Please talk and let these feelings fly free
don't bottle things up and say copings easy
Your moving away and your life will change
You'll meet new people and it'll be strange
Just want you to know how much I hope your fine
I know your not great, but it'll come with time
I love you friend more than words can show
But with these poetic words I'm trying to let you know
I want your meaningless smiles to all be true
I hope one day you will see this darkness through
