Burn Away the Sickness

by shannon   Jun 14, 2005

Throw it in, set it ablaze
Try to see through, past the thick haze

Burn away your disease, make things right
The last moment of this sickness, is tonight

Take the darkness from with in you and make it go away
Tell the devil that he is no longer welcomed to stay

Try not to turn your hatred into pain
Because the outcome of that will abolish you, drive you to be insane

No longer enjoy moments when you make yourself bleed
Sacrifice yourself to those whom you need

Surrender to all, because you are too weak
You have become delicate, fragile, and oh so meek

Throw away your sickness into the fire
And watch it dissolve with a burning desire
