My One, My Only

by Lauren   Jun 16, 2005

Impure thoughts stain my mind
Crimson tears drip from my eyes
A darkened mask to hide behind
My one, my only disguise

I lie, but not like you do
You cry, but not like me
My hate, my love are equal
My one, my only disease

Hypodermic injections
Of illusions I call truth
Or hypnotic perfections
Of one that is not you

You lie and I love and I hate
Combination blue and black
Getting mixed up, entwined in you
Is done, I cant go back

Hypocritic words stain my mouth
I care so much for you
Love is you and love is pain
My one, my only truth

Another simply perfect poem from you! I loved how you repeated the last line and also made it the title of your poem!
