Daddys Little Girl

by Lynzie   Jun 20, 2005

So many years have come and gone
Yet our journey continues on
Still many thinks to look forward to
With good times and bad we pushed eachother through

The road is still quiet long
But with your arms so strong
You will still be there to hold me
Cause I'm not ready to let go you see

Though I'm no longer a little girl
I'm still not ready to step into this world
Even though I wont always be right
You will be there to hold me tight

But when its time for us to let go
When you walk me down that aisle to show
That I'm ready to step into this world
Remember that I will always be...
Daddys Little Girl!!!

!~*Daddy, I know i havent made it easy to raise a teenager but we have had some awesome times together! I just want to say thanks and I Love You! Happy Fathers Day 2005

Heres my word for advice, never say anything mean to your dad. It seems like you two really have a good relationship, try and keep him close. One day, you might lose him. Think of all the things you'll miss when hes gone, and then you'll regret all the "horrible" things you did to him. I had a dad till i was eight...and fought with him and said stuff like "i want a new daddy." but he would always hug me and say 'too bad. you got me.' right...anyways...i regret all of those things now, and i feel its what made him go away. My dad didn't die...but if you read my poem "daddys little girl" you'll understand. Keep your dad close, because hes the only one u got..hes half of who you are.
