It Seems

It seems the pain
has become unbearable
It seems happiness
is quite incapable

It seems I can still feel
my heart, falling apart
It seems my life
could use a new start

I could use a laugh
or a smile on my face
Happiness could come with
some time away from this place

It seems I've made mistake
in the past year
But tonight's the last night
you'll see me shed a tear
