One more heart

One more heart
That beats no longer…
No one even knows….
His heart just gave up
S’pose it was his time
Already paralyzed and
He’d suffered enough
Been through too much
His heart just gave up

If only it were possible
To give up w/o leaving
Broken hearts behind
Because they did care
And yes, there were tears
Love had been there and remains
Despite how things have changed

He’s gone. He’s all gone now. May he R.I.P.
