No One's There

by A Fallen Angel   Jul 1, 2005

No one's there
When you want to die
No one's there
To ease your tears when you cry
No one's there
To catch you when you fall
No one's there
To stop you from punching a wall
No one's there
To stop you from cutting your arm
No one's there
To prevent you from self- harm
No one's there
To see all of the hurt you keep bottled inside
No one's there
To understand why you hide
No one's there
To stop the voices in your head
No one's there
To make you stop wishing you were dead
No one's there
To see the dark circles under your eyes
No one's there
To distinguish truth from lies
No one's there
To ease and soothe your fears
No one's there
To wipe away your many tears
No one's there
To make you feel like you belong
No one's there
And that's why your face is so long
No one's there
To hold you through the night
No one's there
To tell you everything's going to be all right
No one's there
To love you with a passion
No one's there
To show you adoration and compassion
No one's there
To have and to hold
No one's there
With whom to grow old
No one's there
TO notice you don't completely trust
No one's there
To see all good feelings fading into dust
No one's there
To take away the knife
No one's there
To realize there are other ways to end your life
No one's there
To hug and kiss you
No one's there
But why should that make you blue?
No one's there
To help you drive a car
No one's there
To help you go far
No one's there
To lend you their shoulder to cry on
No one's there
To share the new day, the new dawn
No one's there
To notice your depressed mood
No one's there
To tell you when you're being rude
No one's there
To see past your disguise
No one's there
To see the truth in your eyes
No one's there
Because no one really cares
