The Delusion

by Shawn Williams   Jul 3, 2005

The depression that consumes life
The hate that consumes fire
Why does not have the answer
Blind we grope for bliss
Fill abyss with wishful elixirs
Mind altered seeing visions
We worship at the alter of the next fix
Sick our body and souls decay
We have strayed deranged by pain
We hate our creator the only solution
Fill our bodies with useless pollution
Mislead by hallucinogenic delusions
But I hear the call from beyond
That sweet song calling me home
Please son let me save your soul
Restore your bones make you whole
I am the way and the light
I am your God I will restore your sight

What a mind you have! Great word choice... you filled it with such meaning...I like it though I don't know what it all means. :)
