Confusion swept . . .

Your words that caress my face
they bind me to you
with each sentence i read
they catch me in a web like prey

words are all they are
it means nothing to me
you bring hope and faith from dust
then crush it like an insect

poetry of love is what you wrote
you thought of words
each one touching my senses
creating emotions inside of me i cant handle

then one day you changed
just like that it was over
the words you spun were warnings
you could not bare to hurt me any longer

you pushed me away
off a cliff i fell
back to where i had started
consumed by my pain once again

for days i read the same thing
but you prevented nothing
you stole my heart
then crushed it without any meaning

you were my angel
who turned into the evil i hate
the one that hurt me
that put me where i was

i couldn't bare the pain
once again i found myself lost
barely able to think
my heart feels hollow I'm alone
