Down to the last breath

You broke my heart
That’s hard to forget
Yet she’s not something
That you regret

It’s so hard to live
So hard to breathe
So hard to function…
You’re the one that I need

But I can only be near you
When I creep
So instead I dream
All day I sleep

I dream of you
And dream of me
Dream of what...
We used to be

Cause it makes me happy
Makes me smile
It makes me wanna dream
For a really long while

So if I’m sleeping...
And you happen to see
Do me a favor…
Please don’t wake me…
