Just Like You're Mother

by Katrina Boblina   Jul 9, 2005

"Just like your mother",
I hate to hear.
But perhaps I am,
I'll end up just like her
Another suicide article
in the newspaper,
Another grave and burrial
at the funeral home.
Another song for death,
a poem of sorrow.
But never do they mention
the reason behind it,
the husband dead,
the rent not paid,
and a daughter to mess everything up.
I'm sorry mom,
For ruining your life.
I'm sorry if what you did...
was because of me.
