Rock 'n' Roll

Down in the depths,
Where darkness controls,
Comes a pounding from my soul,
For rock ‘n’ roll,

An adrenalin rush,
A real heavy metal,
Not like hip hop,
Or prep to settle,

All you rockers put your hands up,
Sway to the beat,
Jump up high,
Right off your seat,

Common people start moving,
Head bang till it hurts,
Clap until your hands are red,
Move your feet through the muddy dirt,

Just one ticket to a concert,
Becomes a life’s obsession,
To see idols we love,
Understanding life’s depression,

So all your rockers,
Scream out loud,
Tell the world,
That you are proud,

To love metal and rock ‘n’ roll!
