Writing poems

You write poems
To help you through
Oh how i wish
I was like you

For me it's the only way
I can say how i feel
Even if the world
It's in isn't real

But i can't say it loud
No one would listen
No one would see my tears
Although they glisten

Poems i write
Just to pass the night
Something to do
Like flying a kite

But as i said
Doesn't make me feel better
Just the same as when
I wrote that love letter
