How Much I Miss You

by PassingAngel   Jul 22, 2005

I could rearrange the stars
I could walk across the sea
I could even freeze time too
Faster than I could say
How much I miss you

Everywhere I go
Everyone I see
I see nothing
I see no one
But you

Every love song seems the same
Every chorus sings your name
But out of every word they sing
I only hear your voice

In sunshine, rain or thunder
I think of only you
Every raindrop tells a story
But each one seems to be of us two

I could write a million words
Expressing how I feel
But none of them could tell you
How much I miss you

Teardrops soaking through
Every page I write to you
This emptiness inside
Seems to never go away
Because of
How much I miss you

These words are only words
Everything I write
Seems to never be good enough
To be able to say
How much I miss you

I could sing a song
Until my throat runs dry
I could dance
Until my feet are sore too
But I will never be able to say
How much I miss you

It doesnt rhyme in a lot of parts, but thats not what poetry is about. and sometimes, i think poems can be better when they don't rhyme. Very nice comparisons. It's a very sweet poem. Good job.

    Take Care,
