Listen.
Listen and if you listen closely
You can hear the world making music on its own
Just listen.
Listen can you hear that girl crying?
Listen to that nigga's heart turn to stone.

Now he doesn't care about anyone else.
No family, no friends;
He doesn't even care about himself.

Listen as he takes another nigga’s life
And maybe even rapes his ‘honey’.
But listen to how he does it with a smile,
for pleasure and not for money.

No materialistic thing
Could ever take away the pain he feels inside.
As he grew up without a father figure
and never pleased his mother, no matter how hard he tried.

Just listen.
So many tear drops falling that
you can hear them pound down like rain.
Screams for mercy, agony, pain.
Listen as that girl shrieks. Her mind’s gone insane.
Listen.
Listen as she makes permanent
Blood marks on her wrist.
Listen as her own father rapes her.
No matter how hard she cries.
No matter how much she begs him to stop
The pain that she suffers makes her soul die.
She doesnt care to live.
So Listen.
Just listen.
The world’s crashing down around us.
Can we stop it?
No.
But let’s not watch it fall.
