Guilty

by The Fly   Aug 2, 2005

You are in my mind, all of the time,
In my dreams you play.
But I open my eyes, and begin to cry,
For you're not actually here to stay.

And I've committed a crime,
I've sinned one more time,
I thought about you though,
I'm not suppose to do so,
And I'm Guilty.

Like a maze that has no exit,
I roam through your heart,
Seeking for your love,
Again you make me restart.
No matter what i try,
No matter how hard i cry,
I cannot find the key,
To open your love to me.

And it's my crime of passion,
And my sweetest sin,
That i love you outside,
And deep within.
But God will not allow,
Your love on me somehow,
He's forbidden me from you,
And i don't know what to do,
That I'm guilty of loving you.

Make it go away,
I love you too much,
But here i am, not allowed,
To reach out and touch,
The one whom i have,
Such strong feelings for,
But knowing that it's a crime to love you,
Makes me want you even more.

And I've committed another crime,
I've sinned one more time,
I'm so infatuated by your beauty,
That it makes me want to climb,
Up the highest mountain,
And scream out your name,
And show my love for you, then maybe,
You'd love me just the same.

But I, still I,
Am guilty of loving you.
